Since 2006, Monika Joyce has been joining an annual Mercy Ships mission trip to Honduras. The main focus is working at The Children’s Village Orphanage Their projects have included building the living quarters, school and church, as well as, a drainage ditch that allows the land to be dry enough to build everything else.
"As some of you are aware, I returned a little over a week ago from another short-term mission trip to Honduras. This was my fourth summer going on a mission trip to Honduras with an organization that's been around a long time called Mercy Ships. I had a truly awesome, fun, and amazing time working at an orphanage in Tegusagulpita."
